Samsung Galaxy S4 and Linux

I want to download pictures from my Samsung Galaxy S4 to my Linux PC. Here is how I do it:
- open a console
- install gphoto2, for example with SUSE Linux:
yast -i gphoto
- connect the phone via USB cable to the computer
- start the transfer of files:
gphoto2 --get-all-files
