  • find out that you have a bluetooth adapter
# hwinfo --bluetooth --short
bluetooth:
                       Cambridge Silicon Radio Bluetooth Dongle (HCI mode)
  • find out the you can bluetooth-connect to your WiiMote. Press 1 and 2 on your WiiMote:
# hcitool scan

  • install the software for using the WiiMote as a mouse:
# sudo apt-get install wminput
# sudo modprobe uinput
