Want to view a web page with SilverLight content on Linux? Not a problem, it is possible with Google Gears and the right distro.

Set up a virtual machine, 32bit architecture. Then point your firefox to http://gears.google.com/ and click on "install".

  • Ubuntu 10.04: "Google Gears" could not be installed because it is not compatible with your Firefox build type (Linux_x86-gcc3). Please contact the author of this item about the problem.
